ICA

Mistery and history
Known for being the region of the sand and the sea, of oasis and valleys, Ica is the city of the excellent wine and the sun the whole year. It is a Creole excellent ground. Of Pisco and popular devotions as the "Seņor de Luren" or the Yauca Sanctuary. It was in these grounds, in his sand, in which they bloomed important pre-Columbian civilizations, leaving traces that have lasted in the course of time and of the winds. The way to Ica offers to the traveler a diversity of attractions. The first stop is Chincha, warm valley that combines perfectly the holiday and the tradition.

It is the center of a culture caused by the progeny of the black slaves of the cotton plantations. Some kilometers further away, one gains access to the National Reservation of Paracas, the only area protected from Peru that contains in his ambience a marine ecosystem. From the port of Paracas it is possible to take tours in boat to the Ballestas Islands where you can see closely marine wolves, penguins of Humboldt, flamenco or parihuanas and sea birds. To the south of the city of Ica there is the lagoon of Huacachina (relaxing oasis in the middle of the coastal desert) and, kilometers further on, the Nasca Lines, valuable archaeological monument that the ancient settlers of the culture Nasca have bequeathed us. It is an enormous set of lines and drawings of animals and plants, that covers an approximate area of 350 km2. To fly over the Nasca Lines is an unforgettable experience. Ica invite you to visit his numerous wine vaults where excellent wines and Piscos take place, except that you will have the opportunity to enjoy the plates and sweets that only Ica can offer.
